About Chris

   

Experienced Human Resource Management professional with over 18 years HR and Development experience.  During this time Chris has worked at academic, public and private sector organisations in Wales and the West Country.

Chris holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a BA(Hons) in Business Administration. Chris is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and Full Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Chris is currently providing support to small businesses under the Welsh Government contract as a Workforce Development Advisor and a specialist IIP Advisor. In addition Chris also continues to work at the University of Wales in Newport as a visiting lecturer covering Human Resource Management at undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Famous for

  • In 1999, playing my father in squash on our wedding day in Jamaica – still a sore subject with my wife Shelley!
  • Tower Cricket Club’s only left handed batsman and sponsor during our record breaking treble 2011 season

  • Any entrepreneur who started with nothing
  • Any cricketer who scores a ton – done it myself once in 2004 never to be repeated!

Burning ambition

  • To travel to watch a winning Ashes Tour in Australia.
